Benefits of Beauty Sleep for the skin
You know how you end up with dull and shallow complexion after pulling a work or party all-nighter. That’s because you deprived yourself of beauty sleep.
While you sleep, Your body is in recovery mode and that leads to a long list of benefits for your skin. When in sleep recovery mode, your body increases blood flow, which gives a refreshed and glowing skin when we wake up after a good night’s sleep. The benefits go beyond just the skin and when it comes to your beauty routine, sleep may be the closest thing there is to the elixir of youth.
The key is to get at least 7 to 9 quality hours of sleep each night. If you’re getting less than 7 hours, it’s likely affecting your skin. Start getting 1 to 3 more hours and you will be able to see improvements as quickly as in a day to a better skin
